A method for calculating invariant subspaces of symmetric hyperbolic equations

An algorithm is constructed for calculating invariant subspaces of symmetric hyperbolic systems arising in electromagnetic, acoustic, and elasticity problems. Discrete approximations are calculated for subspaces that correspond to minimal eigenvalues and smooth eigenfunctions. Difficulties related to the presence of an infinite-dimensional kernel in the differential operator are successfully handled. The efficiency of the algorithm is demonstrated using acoustics equations.     

The Linear Fokker-Planck Equation for the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck Process as an (Almost) Nonlinear Kinetic Equation for an Isolated N-Particle System

It is long known that the Fokker-Planck equation with prescribed constant coefficients of diffusion and linear friction describes the ensemble average of the stochastic evolutions in velocity space of a Brownian test particle immersed in a heat bath of fixed temperature. Apparently, it is not so well known that the same partial differential equation, but now with constant coefficients which are functionals of the solution itself rather than being prescribed, describes the kinetic evolution (in the N→∞ limit) of an isolated N-particle system with certain stochastic interactions. Generalized quasilinearization method for reaction-diffusion equations under nonlinear and nonlocal flux conditions

In this paper we consider an initial boundary value problem for a reaction-diffusion equation under nonlinear and nonlocal Robin type boundary condition. Assuming the existence of an ordered pair of upper and lower solutions we establish a generalized quasilinearization method for the problem under consideration whose characteristic feature consists in the construction of monotone sequences converging to the unique solution within the interval of upper and lower solutions, and whose convergence rate is quadratic. Thus this method provides an efficient iteration technique that produces not only improved approximations due to the monotonicity of its iterates, but yields also a measure of the convergence rate.

差分吸收光谱法测量大气污染的测量误差分析

差分吸收光谱技术被广泛地应用于测量大气中微量元素的浓度，尽管该技术利用最小二乘法来反演待测气体的浓度，能够得到很高的测量精度。但是，由于仪器本身的噪声以及测量波段其它气体的干扰等，使得仪器的测量有一定的误差，而且上述因素还决定着仪器的测量下限。对差分吸收光谱方法的测量误差以及引起误差的原因作了详细的分析。     

纳米MOSFET迁移率解析模型

从玻尔兹曼方程出发，重新计算了纳米MOSFET沟道内的载流子所服从的分布函数，特别是考虑了纳米MOSFET横向电场和纵向电场之间的相互作用，并且以得到的非平衡状态下的分布函数为基础，考虑载流子寿命和速度的统计分布，给出了纳米MOSFET载流子迁移率的解析表达式.通过与数值模拟结果进行比较和分析，该迁移率解析模型形式简洁、物理概念清晰，且具有相当精度. 关键词： 玻尔兹曼方程 纳米MOSFET 迁移率 沟道有效电场     

一种在弱酸性介质中有电化学发光性能的鲁米诺衍生物

报道了一种鲁米诺的衍生物-3-(1-乙酰丙酮偶氮)苯二甲酰肼在酸性介质中的电化学发光行为,该化合物与鲁米诺类似,发生两步电化学氧化反应,但其氧化电位较鲁米诺低约0.5V,在氧化铟锡玻璃电极上具有良好的电化学发光性能,有效地避免了氧化铟锡玻璃电极本身的发光干扰.不仅在碱性介质中具有较高的电化学发光效率,而且在酸性介质中也产生较稳定的电化学发光,在1.0×10-6mol/L以上浓度,电化学发光强度与浓度有良好的线性关系.     

Reductions of interval nonlinear programming problem

A general nonlinear programming problem with interval functions is considered. Two reductions of this problem to the deterministic nonlinear programming problem are proposed, and illustrative examples are discussed.
